Author Biography

Dr. Ralph Stanley has been performing professionally for more than sixty years. He was awarded a Grammy in 2002 for his song "O Death", featured on the soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? In 2006, he was awarded the National Medal of the Arts.
