Summary

This book focuses on teaching students how to use the FASB Codification and the IASB e-IFRS research databases.  Understanding how to use the Codification is becoming more crucial to success on the CPA exam and success in the profession.  The authors offer a concise guide to the topic that can be used to supplement an Intermediate Accounting or Advanced Accounitng Course, or be used as a central text in an Accounting Research course. It can also be used as a guide for existing professionals.   There is currently no competitor that incorporates both the FASB Codification and the IASB's e-IFRS Systems. This text is unique in that it focuses on the skill development of financial accounting research utilizing these two major research systems.
