He has authored numerous research publications and a recent textbook, Fundamental Anatomy. Dr. Hartwig graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri before completing a PhD at the University of California, Berkeley. He is currently a full professor and department chair of basic medical sciences at Touro University in California.
