Surprisingly well done and informative. April 7, 2011

This book is organized around a "balanced" approach and provides the principles and foundations of media literacy with coverage of contemporary media issues. This book covers the on-going transformations in mass media and offers accessible insight into the important issues through lively examples, streamlined coverage, and a robust media tools. I needed the textbook for a university-level class on mass media as soon as possible, but I expected it to take much longer to come than it did. The textbook was in the advertised condition, which was acceptable. Not to mention the fact that I got a great bargain compared to the original price of the new textbook, for which I would have paid about 60% more. I recommend this textbook and ecampus as the best bookstore I ever dealt with.
