One thing I really liked about this textbook is that when he often combines photographs with drawings for the same structures. This is really helpful in allowing the student to "see" what the text is referring to. This Third Edition features compelling clinical content related to students’ future healthcare careers and abundant opportunities for applied student practice. I highly recommend it to anyone taking a course in microbiology.
