Author Biography

Angela Farris Watkins is the niece of Martin Luther King Jr. She is an associate professor of psychology at Spelman College and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.

 

Eric Velasquez is the illustrator of My Friend Maya Loves to Dance and The Other Mozart and a recipient of the Coretta Scott King–John Steptoe Award. He lives in Hartsdale, New York.
