"Organization Development and Change is a scientifically based business management book developed by the authors from a strong basis in theory. The text does explain in easy to understand practical terms how a business can use scientific knowledge and develop effective strategies, operational processes and systems. Using their experience with large scale organizational design projects the authors lay out recommendations on real-world challenges and effective strategies to improve organizational and group performance. The concepts do apply equally well in public and private sectors as well as profit and non-profit organizations. The book focuses in-depth on key areas of managing and leading organizational change such as: Identifying and supporting an Organizational Development Leader, Diagnosing the issues within the organization, Designing and implementing the changes and Establishing evergreen processes to maintain and improve the new systems."
