Author Biography

Patricia Gambarelli is an accomplished culinary writer and teacher. Though she started out in the field of chemistry, Pat switched career paths to satisfy a desire to teach as well as to indulge her passion for her Italian heritage. She taught cooking for eleven years (including the Pasta for Men Only classes that inspired this book), and has served as Food and Wine Editor for North Carolina and New York newspapers. Pat served on the Board of Directors for the New York Association of Cooking Teachers, has studied under master chefs, including Giuliano Bugialli and Marcella Hazan and was the Culinary Director for the Long Island Wine and Food Society.
