Author Biography

Alfred A. Yuson was born and raised in Manila, and has received numerous literarcy, awards, including the South East Asia Writers' (SEAWrite) Award given by That royalty. He has authored 14 books of poetry, fiction and essays, and edited several anthologies He has also been a travel writer and video documentary director, and written film screenplays and drama He has chaired the Writers Union of the Philippines contributes a weekly column to The Philippine Star and tearches fiction poetry at Atene de Manila University
George Tapan is one of the country's most famous travel photographers Tapan's work has been published in prestigious industry publicatoins in the Philippines and abroad, and has garnered several awards---including the Best Travel Photo award from the Asian Tourism Association (Aseanta) and Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) in 1990, the Kalakbay Travel Photographer of the Year award from the Philippines' Department of Tourism in 1999, and the Grand Award from Northwest Airlines in 2000 for best destination photography.
