In this textbook the authors maintained a superb balance between structure and function and continue to emphasize the correlations between normal physiology and path physiology, normal anatomy and pathology, and homeostasis and homeostatic imbalances.

Principles of Anatomy and Physiology, 13th Edition: 5 out of 5 stars based on 1 user reviews.

Summary

The thirteenth edition of the phenomenally successful Principles of Anatomy and Physiology continues to set the standard for the discipline. The authors have maintained a superb balance between structure and function and continue to emphasize the correlations between normal physiology and pathophysiology, normal anatomy and pathology, and homeostasis and homeostatic imbalances.

The acclaimed illustration program has been extensively revised. The thirteenth edition is fully integrated with a host of innovative electronic media. No other text and package offers a teaching and learning environment as rich and complete.

Illustrations in every chapter have been revised and updated providing greater clarity and more saturated colors. In particular illustrations of blood vessels, bones, and muscles have been extensively revised.
