Summary

She thought he was dead. He never knew she existed. Stung by the rejection of his step-children during a nasty divorce after a war of words with legendary coach Bobby Knight, a famous author begins a spiritual journey leading him to seminary and a new love. He is then shocked when the husband of forty-year-old adoptee Marni Morrison tells him he may be Marni's father due to facial similarities including a gap tooth. DNA results confirm the match, and suddenly the author, who never believed he would be a father, realizes his dream. Better still, the author discovers, he has two grandchildren, Allison (17) and Lucy (11), and a new, extended family to replace the one he lost. After initial visits where hugs abound, Marni surprises the author on Father's Day. The next day tears flow when Marni writes, "Hi there Dad! What a wonderful time we had with you. You made me feel so loved. Know that you are . . . Marni." An inspiring and true tale filled with stories that will surprise, amuse, and move readers, Road to a Miraclewill open people's heart, mind and spirit to any miracle that may be winding its way toward them.
