Author Biography

John Mortimer is a playwright, novelist, and former practicing barrister and has written numerous scripts for film, stage, radio, and television. He received the British Academy Writer of the Year Award for lifetime achievement. He is the author of twenty Rumpole books, eleven other novels, and three acclaimed volumes of autobiography.
