Author Biography

ANDREW SCOTT--is a native of Northern Ireland and became president of OM USA in July, 2010. He originally joined Operation Mobilization in the late 1980s and served on the ministry ship Doulos for two years. His life was dramatically changed by this experience and he committed to further theological training, graduating from Belfast Bible College. Though his initial plan was to immediately return to the nations as a missionary, God redirected him to one of the largest Baptist churches in Ireland. Sensing God's leading he served there as Associate Pastor for three years. During this time God impressed on his heart the importance of the Church in His plan for the world. His desire, as President of OM USA, is to ensure that they serve the church in identifying the most strategic avenues of service and the most effective use of their resources for the glory of God among the nations.
