Author Biography

LOUISE DETWILER is an associate professor of Spanish and chair of the Department Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies at Salisbury University. She has authored nine articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a former recipient of the M/MLA Women's Caucus Distinguished Paper Award for her study of Alicia Partnoy's testimony, The Little School.

JANIS BRECKENRIDGE is an assistant professor of Spanish at Whitman College. She has authored ten articles in diverse peer-reviewed journals and conducted interviews with numerous authors and directors. She is a former recipient of the Feministas Unidas Essay prize for her work on Los rubios, an Argentine testimonial film.
