Irene Haugland is designer and started Vrikke in 1993 just before the Lillehammer Olympics and with great success. Her designs are inspired by old Norwegian handicraft tradition Norwegian rose painting, hand embroidery and symbols from the Middle Ages. Irene lives in Lunde, the heart of Telemark.
