Summary

In the Bible, it is written that when the itinerant rabbi, Jesus, gave up his spirit on the cross at Golgotha, ?The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus? resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.? These are the words of the apostle Matthew. The problem with what Matthew wrote is twofold: 1) he was not present when Jesus gave up his spirit, and 2) it was an out and out lie. Scholars have attempted to cover it up by saying it was symbolic language, It is no wonder that anyone who believes this story would have no trouble believing in the resurrection, because according to the same Bible in which the story is narrated, such an event would not have been possible until the second coming of the man who died on the cross.
