The Sixth Parameter explores the worlds of time travel, past lives, and the indomitable power of the human mind and spirit. As a boy, Dr Charles Fitzwilliam learns that he posesses the ability to reach into the spirit world and the profound depths of humanity. As he develops his medical skills, he learns the true scope of his powers. With the help of his hypnotherapist, Charles seeks to understand the illuminating manner in which medicine, areras of science, and religion are able to co-exist, driven by the modern findings of Physics and concepts of a muliti-dimensional universe. Moving into the past, he befriends John Edgar Munroe, a monk who guides him through events in time until they finally arrive at the Sixth Parameter. It is in this quest to discover himself that Charles teaches readers about alcohol dependancy and treatment, and compels us to reevaluate behaviours long defined by society as mental illness.
