Author Biography

Rosa Luxemburg, born in Poland in 1871, is a heroine of revolutionary socialism. An outstanding social and economic theorist and activist, she was a leading figure in the German socialist movement. She was murdered in the wake of the failed revolutionary uprising of 1919.
