Author Biography

Edmund J. Rybarczyk, Ph.D., is Associate Professor of Historic and Systematic Theology at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa. His book Beyond Salvation: Eastern Orthodoxy and Classical Pentecostalism on Becoming Like Christ won the Pneuma Book Award, given by the Society for Pentecostal Studies for the outstanding publication in Pentecostal scholarship each year. He was managing editor of Pneuma: The Journal of the Society for Pentecostal Studies for six years, and is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. Rybarczyk lives with his wife, Tawnya, and three children in California.
