This book provides specific strategies for middle and secondary teachers to use with students who have mild disabilities, such as LD or ADHD, but the strategies are also useful for students who do not have disabilities. Each chapter has a specific focus on a skill area (decoding, vocabulary, mathematics) and presents case studies with informal assessment results of students' skills in that skill area, a summary of each student's IEP goals in that skill, and evidence-based strategies that teachers successfully used with that student.
