Summary

Children will love this simple retelling of The Tale of Peter Rabbit. Every page has full-colour illustrations telling the story of naughty Peter Rabbit and his lucky escape from Mr. McGregor's garden. Children are encouraged to interact with the story by pressing the sound buttons associated with each page. The sounds include giggling, birds, munching, boinging, a sneeze, a squeeze-pop, a moment of peril and comforting music. This is a perfect book for parents and children to enjoy together.

Author Biography

Beatrix Potter was born on July 28, 1886, in Kensington, London. She--an author, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist--is best known for her imaginative children's literature that celebrated British country life.

Potter originally wrote The Tale of Peter Rabbit for her ex-governess's five-year-old son, who was very ill. From such a simple beginning, the story has sold more than 40 million copies, and, as a result, Beatrix Potter has become one of the most acclaimed children's book authors of all time.
