Author Biography

Randy Bishop is a longtime student of the American Civil War and a collector of Civil War relics. A resident of Middleton, Tennessee, he is a history teacher at Middleton High School and holds graduate degrees in education and history from the University of Memphis. In addition to earning such accolades as the Teacher of the Year Award, which he has received six tunes, and recognition in Who's Who Among America's Teachers, Bishop wrote Pelican's Tennessee's Civil War Battlefields: A Guide to Their History and Preservation.
