Author Biography

Kirsten Jacobson Stasney is a member of the family whose members provide the history of the novel. She is the granddaughter of Anna Marvick Jacobson and the great-granddaughter of Joseph Marvick. Kirsten spent her childhood in Ethiopia, and was educated at St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota. She lives on the north shore of Lake Superior with her husband where she is a privae contractor This is her first novel.
