Jacinto and a handful of strange, impossible characters—Mr. Mouth, Juan Cold, and others—are planning on escaping from a mysterious hospital where they appear to be confined. However, this would not have been the case a few years earlier. Jacinto was living a successful life: he worked in sales at one of the largest and most important companies in the country and had finally won over his attractive coworker. Soon, the circumstances in which he found himself began to conspire against him. Tiempo desnudo is an atypical novel, both in its disconcerting formal prose as well as the monologues from the protagonist as he slowly loses his mind.
