Summary

In this clever take on Greek myths, schoolmates Perce, Andy, Willard, and Eddie think their school field trip to cold, wet, and dreary Bogmouth is the pits. Things go from bad to worse when the boys meet a strange old man on the beach, who turns out to be Odysseus. Harrowing adventures ensue when the foursome finds itself in the midst of Odysseus's voyages, where they help him outwit Circe and her magic potions, the Sirens and their shipwrecking songs, and the cycloptic giant Polyphemos.
