Summary

Troika's continued focus on functional communication gives international business managers early success in the Russian language and encourages them to use what they learn. The second edition has been updated to reflect contemporary Russian society and expose them to Russian culture. Vocabulary and grammar are presented as necessary tools for communication, but always in the context of real-world situations. Each chapter also features Word Building sections that deal with the complex nature of roots, prefixes, suffixes, and other aspects of Russian word formation. And with its emphasis on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, international business managers will get up to speed on the Russian language quickly.
