the financial aid will be available as students begin to order. However, financial aid may be taken up to the start of class and can be updated daily.
When shopping on the virtual bookstore students choose the books they would like to purchase and then must login to their specific account using the information provided by the institution (usually the social security number and birth date). Upon login, students will be able to order books and at the payment screen click a box listed as financial aid. This box will show the student the amount that is available for them to use.
Each time a student subtracts an amount from the 'bank' eCampus keeps track of the transaction. The books are shipped to the student and eCampus then bills the institution. Financial Aid will be billed based on the specifications of the agreement, with 30-day terms. A detailed report may be downloaded from F.A.S.T. or may be sent to the school along with an invoice for review and request of payment.
eCampus has an extremely robust financial aid interface that includes security features for institutions to assign access to individual faculty members and provides an audit trail of all transactions.
