Financial Aid:

eCampus has been able to work with our partner institutions to fashion many different financial aid solutions, ranging from direct billing to online access to the student's financial aid data. Through our experience with our current partners eCampus has developed an online financial aid system that provides real-time access to student accounts with security and transaction auditing capabilities. Our financial aid capabilities also work for students who must change books due to having 3rd party sponsors.

Our Faculty Administration Support Tool (F.A.S.T.) has the capability for students to use financial aid. The institution simply fills out the financial aid template eCampus provides and sends it back to their virtual bookstore manager.

eCampus would like to receive the completed financial aid template 4 to 6 weeks before the start of classes to ensure
the financial aid will be available as students begin to order. However, financial aid may be taken up to the start of class and can be updated daily.

When shopping on the virtual bookstore students choose the books they would like to purchase and then must login to their specific account using the information provided by the institution (usually the social security number and birth date). Upon login, students will be able to order books and at the payment screen click a box listed as financial aid. This box will show the student the amount that is available for them to use.

Each time a student subtracts an amount from the 'bank' eCampus keeps track of the transaction. The books are shipped to the student and eCampus then bills the institution. Financial Aid will be billed based on the specifications of the agreement, with 30-day terms. A detailed report may be downloaded from F.A.S.T. or may be sent to the school along with an invoice for review and request of payment.

eCampus has an extremely robust financial aid interface that includes security features for institutions to assign access to individual faculty members and provides an audit trail of all transactions.

Financial aid can be modified online both in bulk or an individual basis. eCampus has written custom interfaces with current clients utilizing SCT SunGard Banner and SIS Plus systems and has a proven track record of working with institutions to customize and automate the exchange of data.

eCampus will work with your institution as with our other partner campuses across the country to provide the students with easy and convenient access to the textbooks they need to begin their classes.
