Author Biography

Jean Hood is an acclaimed writer and historian. She formerly worked as Information Officer at Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, and has published widely on maritime and naval subjects. She is the author of several books and was a major contributor to the landmark volume Ship: A History in Art & Photography, edited by Professor Andrew Lambert and published by Conway in 2010.
