Critical reading for our generation  March 30, 2011
by

Just like the title of the textbook says, this textbook is full of thought-provoking ideas from an eco pragmatist. Stewart Brand shares his ideas on how to help the planet and the people, in his refreshing style that is mostly devoid of stubborn ideology. For example, although he has been against nuclear power most of his adult life, he has recently changed his way of thinking and embraced expanding nuclear power as an alternative to greenhouse gas spewing fossil fuel power plants.

Whole Earth Discipline : Why Dense Cities, Nuclear Power, Transgenic Crops, Restored Wildlands, and Geoengineering Are Necessary: 5 out of 5 stars based on 1 user reviews.
