This is an excellent story that is incredibly well written. This textbook tells you how to overcome loneliness. Shirley found a way to make some good friends. I would have you read this textbook because it lets you learn what it would feel like to move from one place to another. It also tells you how different and unique other people can be. It's a really good textbook.

Summary
Shirley Temple Wong is thrilled to be moving from her home in China to America. But it isn't easy. She doesn't speak English, the kids at school ignore her, and she feels very far from home.
