Author Biography


Jaswinder K. Ghuman, M.D. is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics, Director of Infant and Preschool Clinic, University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ, and Medical Director at Casa de Los Ninos Behavioral Health Services, Tucson, AZ. She is board certified in General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She was appointed to the NIMH Study Section Review Panel, Interventions Committee for Disorders Involving Children and Their Families, and was appointed by the Governor to the Maryland Advisory Council on ADHD. She has received several teaching awards. Dr. Ghuman has conducted NIMH sponsored research and provides clinical services to preschool children with psychiatric and developmental disorders. Dr. Ghuman has authored and co-authored 55 publications.

Harinder S. Ghuman, M.D. is Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics, and Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Arizona. He is also Training Director for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Dr. Ghuman is board certified in Child, Adolescent and General Psychiatry. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Ghuman has written number of scientific articles and book chapters. He has co-edited three books titled, Handbook of Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Treatment, Handbook of Child and Adolescent Outpatient, Day Treatment and Community Psychiatry, and Providing Mental Health Services to Youth Where They Are.
