Author Biography

Ryan North is a Canadian writer, computer programmer and occasional songwriter. He is known as the creator and author of DINOSAUR COMICS, an acclaimed fixed-art webcomic that has run for more than 2000 issues, as well as the editor of the bestselling anthology MACHINE OF DEATH. Ryan is currently writing the ADVENTURE TIME comic and graphic novel series for BOOM! Studios. Based in Boston, artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb are known their artistic contributions to TRICKY JOURNEYS for Lerner Publishing Group, MUPPET SNOW WHITE and DUCKTALES for BOOM! Studios. Shelli is also a founding member of the Boston Comics Roundtable. In addition to the smash-hit ADVENTURE TIME, the team is illustrating the ICE AGE series of children’s books for KaBOOM.
