Rocío Martínez is author and illustrator of more than thirty books for young readers including The King of the Forest, which was selected for the prestigious BRAW Amazing Bookshelf at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, where she has also been selected twice for the Illustrators’ Exhibition. She has exhibited at the Bratislava Illustration Biennial; the International Youth Library; and at the IBBY International Congress.
