Author Biography

Lar Corbett was born in Thurles, County Tipperary, in 1981 and joined the Tipperary senior hurling team for the first time in 2001. Over the course of twelve years' involvement at senior inter-county level, Lar has won two All Ireland medals (in 2001 and in 2010), two National League medals, and four Munster championship medals. He has won three county club championship medals with Thurles Sarsfields. He has also been an All Star on three occasions and, in 2010, was named Hurler of the Year.
