With the assistance of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, of which he is a member, Scot has undertaken as a mission a bicycle ride of some 20,000 miles to the state capital of each of the contiguous forty-eight states where he will interview veterans of America's wars: World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq. These stories will be chronicled in the America's Heroes series.
