Author Biography

John B. Nici, M.A. (Flushing, New York) has a master’s degree in Art History and taught AP Art History at Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst, New York and Art History at Queens College in Flushing, New York. He was the recipient of the 2004 Queens College President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching by Adjunct Faculty, has published extensively on art history (including a book entitled Famous Works of Art—and How They Got That Way), and has presented and published scholarly papers on topics that include Byzantine art, Piero della Francesca, and Delacroix.

About the Publisher
In the 1930s, Manuel H. Barron opened a bookstore in Brooklyn, New York.
