Anne Rockwell (1934–2018) has written numerous books for children, including At the Beach and The First Snowfall, both illustrated by Harlow Rockwell. 

Harlow Rockwell was an acclaimed artist and was often his wife Anne Rockwell’s collaborator on her books, among them At the Beach, The First Snowfall, and My Spring Robin.
