Helena es una leyenda: su generación construyó las grandes revistas de moda, y lo hizo con talento, inteligencia y estilo. Pero ahora, como a cualquier persona mayor de treinta años, la consideran vieja: una reliquia sin nada que hacer en un mundo de publicaciones digitales, blogs, influencers, hashtags y likes. Su salida intempestiva de la principal editorial de revistas de México obliga a Helena a reinventarse y producir Étui, una original y revolucionaria propuesta que hace cimbrar al mundo del periodismo de moda. En la nueva revista aparece la demoledora columna “Bloggerfucker”, que desenmascara a los charlatanes del mundo de las redes sociales y los blogs. Entonces se termina el idilio: los personajes retratados en “Bloggerfucker”, uno a uno, empiezan a sufrir violentos accidentes. Y el frívolo mundo del periodismo de la moda se enfrenta a un misterio capital: ¿se trata de una extraña casualidad? ¿O alguno de los varios sospechosos está atacando a los influencers del momento?
Helena is a legend: her generation built the great fashion magazines, and they did it with talent, intelligence, and style. But now she, like anyone over thirty, is considered old: a relic with nothing to do in a world of digital publications, blogs, influencers, hashtags and likes. Her untimely departure from Mexico's main magazine publisher forces Helena to reinvent herself and produce Étui, an original and revolutionary proposal that makes the world of fashion journalism rock. In the new magazine appears the devastating column "Bloggerfucker", which unmasks the charlatans of the world of social networks and blogs. Then the idyll ends: the characters portrayed begin to suffer violent accidents. And the frivolous world of fashion journalism faces a capital mystery: is it a strange coincidence? Or is one of the various suspects attacking the influencers of the moment?
