Author Biography

R. Alan Thompson is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at The University of Southern Mississippi. He earned his Ph.D. in 2001 from Sam Houston State University. His teaching interests include police methods, administration of justice, and advanced statistics. He currently oversees a $1.05 million Department of Justice grant to instruct law enforcement personnel in the investigation and prosecution of computer-related crimes
