Author Biography

Miami native Dara Bramson began her journalism career with The Miami Herald's Travel Editor while completing her Bachelor's in Journalism and History at Florida International University. In addition to co-authoring a Frommer's guidebook, MTV Roadtrips U.S.A., Dara freelanced for various South Florida publications and contributed to books, television segments and radio shows worldwide as Associate Producer for CBS News' Travel Editor. After several European backpacking treks, trips to Asia, throughout the Caribbean and Central America, Dara decided to further explore her interest in other cultures and is now pursuing a Master's in Sociocultural Anthropology at Columbia University. She still calls Miami home.
