Walking Eagle and Slewfoot were good friends and never missed the opportunity to go hunting or fishing. They were descendants of a long line of hunters and fishermen of the Helarwee tribe of northeastern Wyoming. The Helarwee' were a nomadic group that wandered throughout the plains, hills and buttes of that region. Standing atop the hills, they would shade their eyes with their hand and ask, "Where the hell are we?"
