Summary

Phil Jones' Communicating Strategy is an extraordinarily practical guide to the who, what and how of strategic communication. He shows you how identify what matters, what the response is that you are looking for and how to know when you have been successful. The book explores techniques such as storytelling, NLP and learning techniques to explain how to deliver a complete and congruent message. Organizations continue to struggle with the way that they communicate strategy to their employees. Recent research surveys suggest that as few as 5-8% of employees understand the strategy that underpins the business. Too often what may be a highly developed and well-planned strategy never really gets out of the Boardroom or if it does it doesn't actually translate into changes in attitude and action.
