Author Biography

Fr. David Meconi, S.J. is a Professor of Patristics at Saint Louis University, where he teaches courses on Trinitarian theology, Christology, and soteriology in the early Church. A scholar of the life and thought of Augustine of Hippo, he is the author of The One Christ: Augustine's Theology of Deification (Catholic University of America Press) as well as the co-editor of the Cambridge University Companion to Augustine. Fr. Meconi is also the editor of Homiletic and pastoral Review. online at HPRweb.com. Joseph Pearce is Writer in Residence and Associate Professor of Literature at Ave Maria University in Florida. He is the co-editor of the Saint Austin Review (StAR) and the author of biographical books on William Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, J. R. R. Tolkien, and other great writers.
