It is the paschal paradox of finding new life in the midst of death that informs the meditations in this book. The author explores the challenge and delight of priestly ministry in the face of its present numerical diminishment and offers a framework by which priests might listen more deeply to their experience, so discovering Spirit-filled possibilities for new life. In this way, fear or despair may give way to the discovery of ever more profound faith and hope and to renewed love for the vocation of the priest.
