Author Biography

Recognized internationally for her expertise in quilting, Marci Baker enjoys sharing ideas that simplify the process of quilting. A native of Dallas, Texas, Marci has loved sewing for years. She began teaching quilting in 1989 for her local quilting guild and shops. Marci received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in math. In 1993 she started Alicia's Attic to share the concepts that combine her love of math and teaching with her love of quilting.

Marci has been featured in many magazines and on many TV shows and in 2006 expanded Alicia's Attic by purchasing Clearview Triangle™ from Sara Nephew. Marci and Sara are now collaborating on new designs and techniques, with Marci traveling and teaching under her new business name Quilt with Marci Baker.
