Summary

I love meeting new people and hearing the stories they have to share. I once decided to wander around Guatemala to do just this. By going without any set plans I ended up being mugged, getting lost more than once, hitchhiking through the jungle, sprinting wildly though Mayan ruins, spending time at a women’s commune and finding a variety of other adventures. Mostly, though, I met a lot of interesting people and learned a lot about life. By ignoring common sense and practical advice and talking with strangers, I was able to collect a lot of life lessons and great memories. It’s amazing how much can be accomplished in just one week.
