Author Biography

Anita Bijsterbosch was born in Apeldoorn (The Netherlands). Her entire life, she has loved reading. As a child, she could spend hours thumbing through books, looking at the pictures and hoping she could one day make such beautiful illustrations herself. She studied the images down to the smallest detail and made up her own little stories to go along with them.

After high school, she took drawing and painting lessons in small galleries in her neighborhood and learned a lot from drawing and painting books. But also mastered many techniques simply by experimenting with them on her own.
