Author Biography

Courtney Watkins is the original "Thinker Upper." She's a creative teacher,TV personality, author/illustrator, and mom who works with schools and families across the country to enhance children's creativity by inspiring enthusiasm and bolstering an "I-can-do" spirit. She's clever, articulate, and a bit quirky which makes her the perfect catalyst to spark big thinking in kids. Watkins has been a guest on the View, Early Show and is the creator of "The Possibility Workshop," a web series produced by The Jim Henson Company and Disney. She designs and runs "Creative Adventures," a hands-on enrichment program and "Trickits," a wilderness adventure program both for grade school kids. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and wonder kid.
