Author Biography

Sharon Burgess has four children, a husband, and two micheivous pugs. She lives in beautiful Bendigo in Victoria, Australia. A town steeped in history, heratige buildings, and stunning gardens, all with a modern café vibe. Her sewing journey began in 2009 and her love of all things English Paper Piecing soon followed. She is the author of Quilting on the Go, English Paper Piecing and A Stitch in Time. In her quiet time you will find Sharon sketching new designs or lost in the slow stitching that is English Paper Piecing. Sharon’s designs give her the freedom of being able to play with soft pretty florals in one project and modern brights in another.
