Customer Reviews

Fantastic!  April 8, 2011

This textbook is an incredibly easy read - you can read it in one day. That doesn't diminish the value at all - this should be required reading for every executive.Rather straightforward book when used in conjunction with lectures. But if you are anything like me and haven't taken a math class since high school, I found the Student's guide that goes with this book to be another helpful aid! I highly recommend this text book for all.

This brief version of Gravetter and Wallnau's proven best seller offers the straightforward instruction, accuracy, built-in learning aids, and wealth of real-world examples that professors and students have come to appreciate. The authors take time to explain statistical procedures so that students can go beyond memorizing formulas and begin gaining a conceptual understanding of statistics.

By integrating applications that reinforce concepts to ensure that even students with a weak background in mathematics can understand statistics, the authors skillfully demonstrate that having an understanding of statistical procedures helps students comprehend published findings, and become savvy consumers of information.

Essentials of Statistics for the Behavioral Science is a great textbook. Very logical and straight forward. It makes learning statistics very easy.
